We use an electronic background check system, so most checks come back in minutes. Some are delayed while the review is completed, and we will let you know if yours is.
Suppressors & NFA
Condition Red is a Powered by Silencer Shop dealer with an in-store kiosk that handles fingerprints and photos for your NFA paperwork. The kiosk is free to use when you buy through Silencer Shop, and eligible suppressors can now transfer on a Form 4473 without it.
Suppressors and other NFA items purchased elsewhere and transferred to us are $50.

FFL Transfer FAQ
What is an FFL transfer?
When you buy a firearm online or from someone in another state, federal law requires it to ship to a Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL) in your state. The FFL receives it, runs your background check on ATF Form 4473, and then releases it to you. Condition Red Tactical is a licensed dealer in Greenfield, Indiana that handles these transfers.
How much is an FFL transfer at Condition Red Tactical?
$35 for the first firearm and $25 for each additional item in the same transfer. NFA items not purchased through CRT are $50.
Do you do private-party transfers?
Yes. If you are buying from or selling to another person, meet at the shop and we run the transfer through our books with a Form 4473 background check. Private-party transfers are $35.
How old do I have to be?
Under federal law you must be 21 to receive a handgun from a dealer and 18 for a rifle or shotgun.
Can I buy a handgun from another state?
Yes, but it must ship to a licensed dealer in your home state. Indiana residents can have it shipped to us and complete the transfer here.
How long does the background check take?
Most checks are approved in minutes through the electronic system. Some are delayed for further review; if yours is, we will keep you updated.
Do you offer layaway?
Yes. Firearms bought from CRT can go on a 90-day layaway so you can lock in what you want.
