The Arisaka Defense Mk2 mount replaces the OEM EOTECH EXPS mount entirely. The factory mount sits the optic at a 1.725 inch centerline, which does not align with a 1.93 inch co-witness height and needs a riser to reach 2.26 inches. The Mk2 gives you the 2.26 inch height directly, so you skip the riser and save a little weight.
