Description
The American Defense AD-T1 is a lightweight quick release mount built for Aimpoint T1 and T2 red dots and other optics that share the Micro footprint. Its slimmer design is about 20% lighter than traditional mounts and leaves less of the target obstructed, which helps with situational awareness. The co-witness height positions the red dot so it lines up with standard iron sights.
The mount is precision machined from 6061 T6 aluminum with a hard coat T3 Mil-Spec anodized finish. The patented QD Auto Lock Lever system is designed to accommodate both in-spec and out-of-spec rails. The source lists fitment for the T1/T2, H1/H2, Crossfire and Romeo 5, plus similar optics with the same Micro footprint.
