The Arisaka Mk2 mount is built for EOTECH EXPS3 and EXPS2 holographic weapon sights. The OEM mount puts the optic centerline at 1.725 inches, which is too low to align at 1.93 inches and needs a riser to reach 2.26 inches. The Mk2 replaces the OEM mount outright, so no riser is needed. That saves weight and gives a 2.26 inch centerline.
