The Arisaka Defense Offset Optic Mount Base is a modular mount for red dot sights. Reversing the stem between the optic plate and base sets the offset to either 35 or 45 degrees, so you can match the mount to your primary optic and to the clearance you need around your turrets. The geometry keeps the optic centered over the bore and at a consistent height in both positions.
Two plate heights are offered. The standard plate fits optics mounted at about 1.5″ to 1.8″ and the tall plate fits about 1.9″ to 2.2″. Choosing the plate that matches your primary optic height gives you a consistent cheek weld when you switch between the two sight picture heights. The base and optic plates reverse, making the mount fully ambidextrous. Interchangeable plates support a wide selection of red dot sights.
