Description
The Arisaka Defense Zero Retention Clamp (ZRC) is made for the MCX Virtus and Spear LT standard handguards. These handguards are not held tightly to the upper receiver, so they can flex under pressure from the support hand and shift the zero of a laser or front sight. The ZRC uses exterior clamps that thread into a U-bracket, which engages the extended upper receiver under the handguard and secures the handguard across two axes. The bracket does not touch the barrel or gas system, so the free-floated barrel is kept. The clamps are contoured to stay out of the way of your grip.
