The Glock 19 Gen 6 is a 9mm pistol built around an optic ready system. The slide comes with three optic plates that screw directly into the slide, so several red dot optics can be mounted without a cut-out for each one.
The Gen 6 frame adds a palm swell, an extended thumb rest and an enlarged beavertail for a higher, more controlled grip. Slide serrations are cut deeper and angled for better purchase when working the slide. The grip texture blends two patterns across the surface, and the undercut trigger guard lets a wider range of hand sizes reach the trigger comfortably.
The flat-faced trigger is standard and keeps the Glock Safe Action System. The frame has an accessory rail and interchangeable backstraps.
