The Glock 17 V is a full-size 9mm pistol built on a full-length slide and frame. It suits shooters who want a full-size 9mm for range work, training, or competition.
The V model adds a flared magwell, a front cutout on the frame, and a reversible magazine catch that can be changed at user level. The slide stop is ambidextrous for left- and right-handed shooters. The SAFE ACTION system uses three passive mechanical safeties that disengage in sequence as the trigger is pulled and re-engage when it is released.
The barrel is a Glock Marksman Barrel (GMB). The steel slide has an nDLC surface finish and front serrations. The polymer frame includes an accessory rail and a textured grip.
