Description
The Missouri River Hawken is a traditional percussion muzzleloader modeled on the plains rifles that replaced the lighter Pennsylvania guns. Its larger .50 caliber bore and heavy octagonal barrel give it a solid, steady feel on the range and in the field.
The rifle has an American walnut stock, a blued octagonal barrel and color case hardened fittings. The stock is fixed, and the rifle is built for black powder shooting with percussion ignition.
