Description
The Ruger American II Scout is a bolt-action rifle chambered in 7.62x39mm, set up for compact handling with a factory-installed scout-length scope base and a threaded barrel with flash suppressor. The leaf green splatter-finished stock gives a secure grip without being overly sharp or abrasive, and the Cerakote coating on the barrel, receiver and bolt handle adds wear resistance.
Pin and aperture iron sights with elevation and windage adjustment are included. A low comb is supplied for better sight alignment with magnified optics, and it can be left off when using the iron sights. Removing the installed spacer adjusts length of pull from 13.75″ to 12″.
