Description
The Savage Axis 2 is a bolt-action centerfire rifle in 5.56 NATO, built for left-handed shooters. It pairs a 20 inch threaded carbon steel barrel with a gray synthetic stock that has a pistol grip, and it feeds from a detachable box magazine holding 4 rounds.
The user-adjustable AccuTrigger and a two-position safety give the rifle a familiar, controllable feel. The bolt handle has a sleek, ergonomic shape that is easier to work in rain or cold weather. The receiver is drilled and tapped for mounting an optic, and the rifle ships without iron sights.
