Description
The Weatherby Alpine MDT Carbon is a bolt-action rifle built on Weatherby’s Model 307 action, a two-lug, fully cylindrical design that accepts many aftermarket accessories. The MDT chassis offers v-block bedding, an adjustable length of pull and adjustable comb, and AICS magazine compatibility. A carbon fiber forend, pistol grip and buttstock keep the weight down, and the forend has an integral ARCA rail for attaching a tripod. The buttstock folds for compact storage.
The BSF carbon barrel is fluted and threaded and comes with Weatherby’s Accubrake DST directional self-timing brake, which adds 2 inches to the overall barrel length.
