The Battle Arms Development BAD-EMR is an enhanced magazine release machined from billet 7075-T6 aluminum and finished in red anodizing. The solid V-shaped button face has horizontal serrations and a concave groove that centers the index finger under pressure. The serrations help the button grip vertically while producing little drag when the finger slides across it to retract.
A skeletonized back offsets the weight of the solid button face, and the part is slightly taller so its weight matches a standard mil-spec magazine release. It is meant for lower receivers that accept mil-spec magazine release buttons.
