The Arisaka Finger Stop is a low profile hand stop designed to be placed between your index and middle fingers on a Picatinny handguard. Its slim profile keeps it forward on the handguard, so it stays out of the way when you move your support hand rearward for kneeling or prone positions. The wider profile also works as a rear hand stop for shooters who prefer that location.
The Finger Stop also keeps your fingers from slipping forward off shorter handguards onto a hot barrel or suppressor, and it can serve as a barricade rest.
Installation requires sliding the Finger Stop onto the rail. The fit is precise to Picatinny specification, so out-of-spec or damaged rails may make installation difficult.
