Description
The Chaos Gear Supply Helios QD is a compact quick-attach suppressor for 5.56mm rifles and carbines. It uses Variable Core Diameter technology for sound reduction, with a reduced flash signature and a minimal, consistent point-of-impact shift. The taper-mounted interface is designed to reduce carbon lock between the suppressor and the muzzle device.
The large .36 bore is rated for multiple calibers, including up to .300 Norma Magnum. The kit includes interchangeable 1/2×28 and 5/8×24 rear caps, a 1.375×24 adapter ring for a range of QD mounting systems, and both sealed and ported front caps for tuning or for reducing blowback on over-gassed platforms. It is full-auto rated with no barrel-length restrictions, and its removable serial ring lets the serialized section move to a replacement core.
